Jusic’s translation of Rumi poetry on sale in Serbia

TEHRAN -- A collection of poems by the Persian poet and mystic Molana Jalal ad-Din Rumi has been translated and published in Serbia.
Aleksandar Jusic has translated Coleman Barks’ “The Essential Rumi”, a collection of Rumi’s poetry which was published in 1994 in the U.S., into the Serbian language.Jusic has previously translated Tazkirat al-Auliya (The Dhikr of the Friends of Allah) by Iranian 13th century mystic and poet Farid od-Din Attar Neishaburi, from English into Serbian.
The book has been published by The Iranian cultural attaché’s office in Serbia. About 25 pages of explanatory footnotes have been added to aid in the understanding of certain points.
The book is now available at the 52nd Belgrade International Book Fair
